Ricardo Johnson II

Ricardo Johnson II is the CEO of Muse Health, a healthcare technology and services company that develops care-navigation, analytics, and coordinated-care solutions for healthcare organizations, employers, and communities. He also founded R2 Business Development Group, which connects early-stage companies to enterprise partners across healthcare, sports, and media.

Johnson brings more than three decades of experience in healthcare and retail business development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from The George Washington University. Earlier in his career he held development and operating roles at organizations including Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.

He founded Muse Health following the deaths of his paternal and maternal grandmothers from preventable illness, an experience that shaped the company’s focus on closing gaps in healthcare access. Muse Health now operates the Oasis Care Navigation Platform, combining care navigation, behavioral health support, and peer support in a single system used by payers, providers, and employers. The company has partnered with organizations including Allstate, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Mayo Clinic, and Baylor Scott and White.

Johnson has discussed the company’s mission in interviews with CanvasRebel Magazine and Voyage Dallas Magazine, and Muse Health’s work has been covered in trade press including PR Newswire. In 2025 he was named a finalist for Executive of the Year at the Beyond Activ Americas Awards of Excellence. He is based in Dallas, Texas.
