Muse Health™ on Rural Healthcare

Effective June 3, 2024, through June 3, 2028, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services approved The Joint Commission to serve as an accrediting body for Rural Health clinics that request participation in the Medicare program. Muse Health™ is excited to see these guardrails put in place.

At Muse Health™, we recognize how important certification requirements can be in assuring excellent care, especially in rural areas where access to healthcare resources may be limited. With The Joint Commission’s recent accreditation as an accrediting authority for Rural Health clinics seeking Medicare participation, Muse Health™ feels empowered by this proactive step toward improving healthcare access and quality in underserved communities. These guardrails not only represent a dedication to patient safety and quality improvement, but also foreshadow a future in which every person, regardless of geographic location, can receive the treatment they deserve. We eagerly await the wonderful effects that this accreditation will bring to patients and clinicians alike.
