Improving Patient Care

The American Academy of Physician Associates and The Harris Poll’s recent study reveals there’s still much that needs to be done to improve patient experience. Patients revealed:

😶 40% fear speaking up during appointments

👂 49% don’t always feel listened to

🩺 64% wished providers took more time to understand them

Providers must focus on creating an environment that makes patients comfortable and taking the time to listen and understand to build trust. Without trust, patients won’t feel comfortable enough to speak up.
